Living Plant Walls Make an Important Design Statement in Your Space

Do you want to make a healthy statement and first impression?  Something people will be drawn to. Try a green wall for health and wellness in the design of your fitness center.

Consider an environment-friendly living wall (also referred to as green walls and vertical gardens).  They differ from green facades such as ivy walls in that the plants are rooted in a structural support system that is fastened to the wall itself.

The plants receive water and nutrients from within the vertical support instead of from the ground.  An irrigation system or drip line is often recommended.  There are also units available that are intended for hand watering.  The excess water drains from units into a collection container.  Often a lightweight porous material takes the place of soil making the walls much lighter.

With some attention, you can make a lasting statement about your commitment to people’s health and well-being.

Consider a green wall in a new fitness facility or space; it is a perfect upgrade for any renovation.
